How do i fix my zippo wick?
My zippo wont light anymore, the wick is long but all black. Do i extend it and then trim it? i checked and the problems not the fuel level or flint.
Yep.
Take the cotton packing out (where you fill the fluid) to make it easier to pull more wick out. Notice how it is zig-zagged through the layers of cotton.
Pull out some wick, trim excess. You MIGHT need pliers, depending on how tight the wick fits through the hole it comes through.
