wick oil lamps

wick oil lamps
Why is my fuse lit the oil lamp above the sides to the center as usual?

He was well until today. It was empty for a few days, I filled an hour. Instead of the flame looks normal, you know, more flames in the center looks more like a form of "U". It burns so well it should. What can I do to fix this problem?

Cut the wick at the top flat. Add: You may need to cut the corners to get the heat in the center as you describe. It depends on the form of metal where the lock is released.
