Hydroponics Systems How they work? There are different types of hydroponic systems to support plant growth. Plants need nutrients and oxygen to roots. Each type of hydroponic system has its own way to grow plants that are going to discuss here.

The 7 main types Hydroponic Systems are —

1. Manual drainage – This type of hydroponic system is very simple. We have to blend nutritious elements, perlite and coconut to grow these plants in the container. Just add the fertilizer in the water by hand. The containers stay moist because the mixture contains a little water.

Peat pots has as its basis. This all systems of hydroponics plant growth. In this method, a container can hold 2 inches of the nutrient solution. Several plants settle or sit in the nutrient solution.

An air pump is used for bubbles in nutrient solutions and to prevent plant roots from drowning. The holes fund are small pots of plants to give some space for the roots out of the nutrient solution.

This system is designed to keep light from reaching the nutrient solution for light allows the algae to grow. These algae eat the nutrients that the charger is mainly for plants.

3. The flood and drain method – This is another type of hydroponic systems for growing plants. Here, plants are made to sit in their containers themselves, which are always separated by the deposition of nutrients. A pump is used to enable or disable the amount of nutrient solution that can absorb the roots of plants. Thus, the roots are soaked, but at the same time to obtain the contribution of the nutrient solution.

Plant growth depends on how flooding of the container. These systems are well suited to production growth in chip lava or perlite right. Use a hand pump with a good filter, this method fits either organic hydroponics.

4. Drip system – In this type of plants are placed in their traps and even separate from the reserve of nutrients. Here is a pump units of the nutrient solution through small tubes and the plant becomes the top feeder. The drip can be controlled through the issuers. Ball clay is used to accelerate the drainage of Rockwool whereas it might be used to slow drip emitters.

But the downside is that issuers are characterized by obstruction. These problems are worse and the maintenance or the purchase of these systems has become silver. For those who want to make organic hydroponics, this type of hydroponic system is not advised.

5. Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) – In this type of hydroponic systems, plants are placed in the tray in the container or a channel that is separate from the reserve of nutrients. One end of the tank is maintained, at least, is easier to stimulate the flow of water.

For a steady flow water, using a pump that creates a constant flow of nutrient solutions in the bottom of the drawer. The water flows through the bottom of the tray. Sure that the plant root system is large enough to hang on the solution of the flow of nutrients.

Technically hydroponic nutrients Gardeners the film is a good choice for home and for those interested in organic hydroponics system. The functionality, design and parts are very simple and never there are reports of leakage or shoes.

6. The wick system – In this system, the plants are still in their own separate container deposit nutrients. Parts nylon rope are partly buried in each container plants. The other end is allowed to hang in the nutrient solution. Thus, the nutrient solution is removed from the tank to the culture medium.

This system is also good for organic hydroponics, but must look at things as there is little here can be difficult to achieve the appropriate moisture level in a wick system. This happens because the coconut absorbs less water.

7. Aeroponics Method – In these systems hydroponic cultivation, a large container containing several gallons of nutrient solution at the bottom. A pump is used to push the solution spray heads Nutritional continue to absorb every inch inside the container with a fine mist of nutrient solution.

Hanging roots and grow on all in the air, except for the few who are old enough to make the current nutrient solution at the bottom. A high pressure pump is used here, and issuers spray are designed to provide a fine spray and oxygenated.
