Would you like a vacation where you sit at the pool or beach all day?
A friend just got back from vacation. She spent a whole week in Cancun and basically sat at the pool or the beach the entire week. She and her husband did not do any shopping, or did they visit any attractions or walk around and tour the town or other resorts. Instead, they just sat on the beach or read books while sitting at the pool. This was heaven to them.
I would go crazy just sitting like that all day. How about you?
Wow, it sounds like we have the same friend. I have a friend that went all the way to Hawaii and did the same thing — just sat at the pool all day.
No, that’s not my idea of a vacation. Sure, I will sit by the pool or beach for awhile, right after sight seeing. My husband and I love to explore the place we are traveling in. For example, on our honeymoon to Cancun, we went snorkeling, went deep sea fishing (got sick) and we took a tour to the ancient Mayan ruins. We did a lot of other things too.
And the two times I’ve been in Hawaii, we took tours of the area and had interesting things scheduled everyday — then we’d sit by the pool or beach to relax before dinner.
Now that’s my idea of a vacation, not just sitting by the pool all day!
