Mallorca was part of the last birthday party two largest known birthday boys recently.
Andrew Lloyd Webber hosted the event held its 60th anniversary and Michael Caine 75. The celebration included a performance by a band of Mallorca. Andrew Lloyd Webber, was born on March 22, 1948 in South Kensington, London, England. His mother, Jean Hermione Johnstone Webber, is a violinist and pianist. His father, William Lloyd Webber is a composer. His brother is the famous cellist Julian Lloyd Webber. Lloyd Webber has always had an ear for music. As a very young boy he began composing his own music. At age nine, wrote his first series published six pieces.

During his career, he composed 13 musicals, a song cycle, a series of variations, two soundtracks and a Latin Requiem Mass. He was knighted in 1992. Later, in 1997, was created life peer as Baron Lloyd-Webber, of Sydmonton in the county of Hampshire. For his efforts, he received three Tony Awards, three Grammys, an Oscar and a six International Emmy Awards Olivier, a Golden Globe and the Kennedy Center Honors in 2006.
Some of his most notable compositions include "I Do not Know How to Love Him" Jesus Christ Superstar, '' Do not Cry for Me, Argentina "from Evita, Memory from Cats and" Music of the Night "from The Phantom of the Opera. His second wife, Sarah Brightman, was cast in the lead role of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.
Several of his works have been widely recorded and became hits outside their places of origin in musical theater. The Really Useful Group is a company of Lloyd Webber and is one of the largest theater operators in London. The company also licenses play and stage productions of Lloyd Webber musicals.
Lloyd Webber has worked with many other notable composers such as Tim Rice, on several occasions. Some of The most famous collaborations are the likes of us and Evita. He also composed the music with his brother Julian Lloyd Webber.
In the 1980s began to a new project without a lyricist. Instead, he turned to the poetry of TS Eliot. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats was a favorite of children Lloyd Webber.
