Studio apartments can be difficult to decorate because everything is basically all in one big (or not so big) room. Sometimes this small space must fulfill various activities: sleeping, entertainment, kitchen and office.

Here are ten tips for decorating a small studio:

1. Provide enough storage capacity. Try to find furniture for your apartment, it will be "redundant". You can even find chairs and sofas that have areas

2. Use containers to hide clutter. Buy wicker baskets or old trunks for storing off season clothing, linens and towels. They are large and contain all those little things that make a room look cluttered.

3. Use mirrors to reflect light. A large mirror or several small Strategically placed mirrors can make a small space feel lighter and bigger. If you prefer a style of art, furniture and decorative metal tables or glass can expand the space visually.

4. Do not block the light. Covering all windows with blinds and curtains can make a small room feel dark and crowded. Leave windows bare or only cover simple curtains to filter the light. Light always makes a space seem larger.

5. Furniture around in "parts". Try to create specific areas for specific activities. Put a bed and wardrobe in one place to the bedroom and a sofa and coffee table center in another area. Ask your apartment furniture to old ways, can be messy and unattractive. You may have to get out of bed and using a sofa bed if the apartment is super light.

6. Create a discussion. If you are lucky enough to have a fireplace, accentuate it. Even if you're not a natural focal point, create one. Painting a single wall a different color to attract attention in a room which seems more important. Put a dresser entertainment center large or on the wall and decorate with accessories beauty.

7. Use dividers for larger apartments. You can find beautiful dividers, in thrift stores and furniture stores high end. Use them to include different areas of your space. I saw an episode on HGTV where they used four beautiful wooden partitions into a separate room. They not only provide private bedroom, but created another "wall" on which to place the furniture.

8. Keep clutter at bay. When you have an area small, congestion is not an option. Knick also many gifts and furniture all together too well. Keep your necessary items such as bedding placed in a closet or wicker baskets. Kitchen counters should be kept clean with everything in the closet … if possible.

9. Another trick for a small space is to purchase furniture with legs that are higher than the earth. The eye search "under" these pieces of furniture and add visual space. Blocks and furniture that is low to the ground reveals busiest room.

10. Paint with lighter colors. You need not use white, but the use of paint colors that are lighter in color develops more space than dark colors.

Decorating a studio can be a difficult task, but with the tips over a few who can help you get started in the direction correct.
