In 2007, furniture, major (möbler) designer Hans Wegner died. He entered this world, Tonga, Denmark, 93 years ago and eventually become the most successful and noted individual in the School of Danish modern design. His style is quiet and beautiful composed of clean, simple lines.

Hans Wegner began his career as a carpenter. Unfortunately, he was called to serve his country. He continued his training at a school specializing in technical skills. He then became a student of the Academy of Architecture in Copenhagen and the School of Arts and Crafts additional training. Later he studied with teachers and Erik Moller Arne Jacobsen.

Design chairs, a work of art and a piece of comfortable furniture (möbler) was his field of expertise. He believed that a chair should look good from every angle. Furthermore, it considered should be without a front or back, but instead of a single continuous movement around the chair.
