Canopy Kit
I’d like to put up a canopy but I wanted to avoid having to put holes in the celing? Any alternative ideas?
I have a canopy kit and it came with the nails and everything else. However, I am not sure how the landlord would feel about the holes in the ceiling so I was wondering if any one had any alternatives that I could use in place of the nails. Also, if anyone has any other creative yet simple ideas for how to make your own home made canopy, please share. THANKS!
Nail holes are very easy to cover or repair afterwards. But I wouldn’t use nails, chances are it would be very weak to hold anything unto the ceiling. Use hook-screws instead (these are the hooks with screw in them). Once you vacate the place, buy caulk or spackling paste from Home Depot or Ace Hardware store and cover the holes as if nothing happened.
If you used glue, it is harder to clean up.
