What are the things I need to start candle making?
As far as I can I need wax pellets, wick, wick tabs, dye and scent if required and a mould but think I’m right in thinking any waterproof container is fine?
Do I need anything else and have u got any tips for me?
Do a lot of reading before you start buying stuff.There are lots of different types of candles. Some are best with bees wax added, Some can be carved, There are a lot of special techniques. You can buy the large blocks of candle wax pretty cheep. But there are soy candle that are very nice.
I like casting candles in sand with sea shells around the edge, when you remove the candle is has sides of sand and shells and very abstract. Probably could use other items besides shells.
